"Engineering of an Infrared Heating System is a complex yet logical process"

Putting together an Infrared Design:

  1. Review the needs for the building and the building owner. Remembering "Form follows Function"
  2. Audit the building – a buildings heat loss with real world conditions factored into the design.
  3. Identify the project budget.
  4. Select the type of Infrared heater based on cost and building requirements.
  5. Burner input will be based on mounting height.
  6. Length of units will be determined by Burner Input.
  7. Review Clearance to Combustibles chart – burner styles will have varying clearance to combustibles. Special reflectors can protect conduit, lights and other combustible material.
  8. Place burners where necessary while keeping Infrared Energy on exterior walls to a minimum.
